Soil-Colour Artist Irena Racek has been awarded the Professional Title of "Professor" by Provincial Governor Dr. Erwin Proell.

Irena Racek already supervised the competition "with the Colours of the Earth", and is now the artistic supervisor of the project of SOILart. It is she who made possible many ways towards an artistic treatment of the topic of "soil" in Lower Austria.

On account of her tireless services within the meaning of art she was awarded the decree of entitlement to hold the professional title of "professor" on November 10, 2009 at the meeting hall of the provincial parliament of the Lower Austrian Provincial Government by Governor Dr. Erwin Proell.
